Meet Rachel Bennett

Some people find cooking relaxing. For me, it's more than that—it's how I show love. For the past 15 years, I've been the head chef of a very demanding restaurant: my family's kitchen. With three kids who all have different tastes and a husband who thinks "spicy" means black pepper, I've learned to create meals that somehow make everyone happy.

I didn't go to culinary school. I learned to cook from my grandmother in her tiny Tennessee kitchen, where every meal started with butter and ended with a hug. Those lessons stuck with me, and now I'm passing them on through every recipe I share here at Foodie Front.

When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me volunteering at my kids' school, tending my small vegetable garden, or hunting for vintage cookbooks at estate sales.
