How It Started
Foodie Front started in 2025 when four food-loving friends realized they were all dealing with the same problem: finding reliable recipes online was way harder than it should be. Between the life stories before every ingredient list and the comments full of people who changed everything and wondered why it didn't work, we knew there had to be a better way.
So we built it. A place where recipes actually work, instructions actually make sense, and you can get straight to cooking without scrolling through someone's childhood memories first. We test obsessively, write clearly, and focus on what matters: helping you make delicious food without the stress.

I'm Derek, and I have a confession: I used to think cooking was just something you did to not starve. That changed when I moved into my first apartment and realized that ramen every night wasn't going to cut it. What started as survival quickly became an obsession.
I'm a former college football player who discovered that the discipline I learned on the field translated perfectly to the kitchen. Cooking is about preparation, timing, and execution—just like running a play. Except the only thing getting tackled is your hunger.
