Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, microplaned
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy crust.
- Season both sides of the chicken thighs with sea salt, cracked black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, microplaned garlic, and dried oregano.
- Place the chicken in your baking dish or skillet. Pour the cream mixture around and slightly over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Mound the cheese mixture onto the center of each thigh, pressing down slightly to adhere.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese has formed a golden-brown crust and the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with red pepper flakes before serving.
