Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp (30g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp (25g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25g) Baking Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) Whole Milk
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Melted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. In a 12 oz microwave-safe ceramic mug, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until no clumps remain.
  2. Add the whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Whisk with a fork until the batter is smooth and no flour streaks remain at the bottom.
  3. Place the mug in the center of the microwave and cook on high power (1000W) for 60 seconds. The surface should be set but slightly tacky.
  4. Let the cake rest for 1 minute to allow residual heat to finish setting the center before serving.
