Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
- 2 medium (200g) frozen bananas, sliced
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp (21g) honey
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Layer the ingredients into the blender in the following order: liquid first, then yogurt, and finally the frozen fruit to protect the blades and ensure a smooth vortex.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting to break down large frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high speed for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is a consistent pale pink color.
- Check the consistency using a spatula. If the mixture is too dense, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it is fluid enough to pour but thick enough to hold a straw upright.
