Ingredients:
- 1 medium seedless watermelon (approx. 5 lbs)
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
Instructions:
- Slice off both ends of the watermelon to create a flat base, then stand the watermelon upright.
- Carefully carve the rind away from the top to the bottom, following the curve of the fruit, leaving a thin strip of rind if making sticks.
- For the Party Stick Method: Slice the watermelon in half lengthwise, place flat side down, and cut 1-inch parallel strips across the melon. Rotate 90 degrees and cut another set of 1-inch parallel strips.
- Alternatively, cut the melon into rounds and quarter them into wedges, or dice into 1-inch cubes.
- Arrange the watermelon sticks or slices on a chilled platter.
- Drizzle fresh lime juice evenly over the fruit and scatter torn mint leaves and a pinch of flaky sea salt across the top.
