Ingredients:

  • 1 lb frozen strawberries, whole and unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 0.25 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 oz premium silver tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp fresh lime zest
  • 1 lime wedge

Instructions:

  1. Mix the coarse sea salt and fresh lime zest on a small plate.
  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of two chilled margarita glasses and dip the outer edges into the salt-zest mixture at a 45-degree angle.
  3. Add the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar into the blender canister first to establish a liquid base for the blades.
  4. Add the 1 pound of frozen strawberries to the blender.
  5. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and reaches a thick, velvety slushie consistency.
  6. Pour immediately into the prepared glasses and serve.
