Ingredients:
- 1 lb frozen strawberries, whole and unsweetened
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- 0.25 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 4 oz premium silver tequila
- 1 oz orange liqueur
- 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp fresh lime zest
- 1 lime wedge
Instructions:
- Mix the coarse sea salt and fresh lime zest on a small plate.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of two chilled margarita glasses and dip the outer edges into the salt-zest mixture at a 45-degree angle.
- Add the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar into the blender canister first to establish a liquid base for the blades.
- Add the 1 pound of frozen strawberries to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and reaches a thick, velvety slushie consistency.
- Pour immediately into the prepared glasses and serve.
